While HamTests isn’t as such a paid client along with a couple of friends the website was started to help someone with no knowledge of amateur radio gain their licence which is issued by Ofcom. HamTests provides course material and mock tests for all three UK amateur radio licence levels.
The website is built on top of the virtual learning environment Moodle, this provided us with most of the features we required to carry out running the website and currently supports over 15,000 users.
